The POWER of YOUR TESTIMONY.

 The POWER of YOUR TESTIMONY.

First let’s understand what a testimony is.
Noah Webster 1828-TEST'IMONY, noun [Latin testimonium.] A solemn declaration or affirmation made for the purpose of establishing or proving some fact. Such affirmation in judicial proceedings, may be verbal or written, but must be under oath. testimony differs from evidence; testimony is the declaration of a witness, and evidence is the effect of that declaration on the mind, or the degree of light which it affords.

Testimony- Your story of what The Lord has done in your life.
Revelation 12:11
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
Did you get that? They over came him, the enemy of your soul, by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony. Every time you share your testimony you are participating in spiritual warfare against our enemy. This is especially true when you share it with unbelievers. When you share your testimony of salvation, healing, miracles, anything that God has done for you that is striking a blow against the enemy who is keeping them in bondage. You are also planting seeds for their deliverance.
So think what happens if you don’t share your testimony?
When you share your testimony with other believers it helps to encourage and strengthen their faith.
Revelation 19:10
And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”
The spirit of prophecy. What is prophecy supposed to accomplish?
1 Corinthians 14:3
But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men.
Prophesy is to edify, exhort and comfort. If it isn’t doing one or more of these 3 it isn’t prophesy.
Many think that prophesy is just about telling the future. It can but it is also firmly proclaiming the Word of the Lord. Both the foretelling and forth telling will include one or more aspects of the 3.
So when you testify of Jes and what He has done in your life you carry that spirit of edification, exhortation and comfort.
Please if you’re a born again believer in Jesus I exhort you to share your testimony as much as you can with as many as you can.

1st Report from 2nd Ireland Trip

Report From second Ireland trip.     Arrived in Ireland on time and very blessed.  The Lord provided me access to an airport lounge for my layover in Washington DC and for a row by myself to stretch out on the plane flight over.  Superfast pick up of the rental car and off I went to Castledaly.    Castledaly is a wonderful retreat/summer camp facility.  There was actually another retreat going on the same time as Outreach Ireland’s retreat.  The European Christian Mission and I the great privilege of meeting and speaking with Jonathan McCracken who is a church planter currently planting a church in Claremorris, Ireland.  Being that church planting is a passion of mine and part of my calling/mission this was indeed a divine appointment.  I was able to exchange contact information and am hoping to build relationship with him. Outreach Ireland’s retreat was a Holy Spirit filled time of connection, relati...

Do we have big enough expectations?

Do we have big enough expectations?   How do you define hope?  Do you define it as most of the world has come to define it which is basically wishing?  Actually, hope is to have an expectation for something or that something will happen and this is especially true in a Biblical context.  Take a look at the following verses and every time you read hope say expectation.     Romans 15:4 For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.    Romans 15:12-13 And again, Isaiah says: “There shall be a root of Jesse; And He who shall rise to reign over the Gentiles, In Him the Gentiles shall hope.”  13  Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.   Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evi...
